Fume Cupboards

Fume cupboards, also known as fume cabinets, filtration cabinets or fume hoods are fume extraction systems used in a scientific environment to protect users from harmful fumes, which have the potential to cause harm if inhaled. They are small scale systems and are usually used in laboratories, both medical and educational.

There are two main types of fume cupboard - Ducted fume cupboards and recirculatory fume cupboards.
