Formalin Evacuation Unit
The Formalin Evacuation Unit utilises carbon filtration technology to protect the operator and environment from harmful formaldehyde fumes.
This unit is specifically designed to remove any residual formaldehyde vapours from biological
safety cabinets and enclosures following fumigation. Vapours are absorbed into the carbon filter to ensure operator and environment protection.

The carbon filter is clamped into position to ensure complete safety and a filtrate pre-filter precedes the main filter block, which removes particles down to 0.5 micron. Easy installation is achieved via a spigot on the top of the unit together with a 3m length of flexible ducting for connection to the exhaust of the unit requiring fumigation.
The unit features variable fan speed control and is quiet in operation. It is fully mobile and can therefore be shared between multiple enclosures.
